Become an Energy-Savvy Organization with the BNI Program—Cost Savings and Comfort!

Small changes to your lighting, heating or other technology can result in huge energy—and money—savings, thanks to the scale at which organizations operate. These savings will help the province decrease its overall energy use, as well as give you more money to invest in something you care about: your organization.

But what’s in it for you? Plenty—but let’s start with four elements:

New Technology

Energy Efficiency Alberta’s BNI program is—like many of our programs—a retrofit program, which means that to be eligible for incentives, projects must be replacing old, inefficient technology with new, energy-efficient technology. Through our program, your organization receives rebates for upgrading lighting, HVAC, and water-heating technology.

Save Now, Save Later

If you’ve considered replacing your inefficient HVAC system, the lighting in your warehouse, the water heater in your school, or other applicable technology with something more energy-efficient, now’s the time. With the BNI program, your organization can benefit from incentives that will make the most energy-efficient technology more affordable now—typically, rebates are between 20 – 40% of product costs—and, over time, you’ll also save on energy costs.

Increased Comfort

New, efficient technology in lighting and heating don’t just offer money and energy savings, they’ll leave your clients, customers and employees more comfortable as well: imagine better-quality lighting throughout your business and the productivity gains you could achieve; imagine an HVAC system that saves money and works like a charm; imagine not waiting for hot water. All of this is possible through better, more-efficient technology, with rebates available through Energy Efficiency Alberta’s BNI program.

A Better Understanding of Your Energy Use

You may not even know your organization is wasting money on energy—you might simply have never thought about it before. And who could blame you? With all the other pressures of running an organization, energy use can easily fall to the bottom of the priority list.

When it comes to costs, however, energy use is a big deal. You can save a significant amount of money just by understanding how your organization uses energy, and we can help. You’ll gain a better understanding of how your organization uses energy—and be able to save money—just by participating in the program.
