  • Replacing HID lamp greater than or equal to 70W, and less than 250W
  • On DLC qualified products list
  • Category: mogul (E 39) screw-base replacements for HID Lamps
  • Primary use: replacement lamps for high-bay luminaires
    (Type C) or low-bay luminaires (Type C)

The participant is responsible for keeping a proof of the wattage of the HID being replaced. This is to be provided if selected for inspection in one of the following manners: (i) keep the replaced lamps for at least two months, or (ii) keep photographs that can be used to prove replaced lamp wattage and that the replaced lamps were installed and used on the premises.

  • Primary use: replacement lamps for high-bay luminaires (Type C) or low-bay luminaires (Type C)

The participant is responsible for keeping a proof of the wattage of the HID being replaced. The requirements described in the Technical Specification section are solely to meet the rebate requirements for the BNI program. They do NOT overrule or supersede in any way the permitting regulations, municipal, provincial or federal codes, standards, and any other relevant Acts currently in force. The technical specifications described in this program are meant to be the minimum required by the program to obtain rebates. Where the appropriate Authority Having Jurisdictions (“AHJs”) require a higher standard be in place, the person/company performing the work must follow the AHJ’s requirements. It is the responsibility of the person/company performing the work to know and follow codes, standards, and regulations.
